I am currently serving as an adjunct instructor for Howard Community College, in the Business and Computer Systems program. This past semester, I taught Introduction to Web Authoring, a class concentrating on the basics of web design and authoring, focusing predominantly on the use of Dreamweaver and Flash as authoring and creative tools. I will be teaching Intro to Web Authoring and Intro to Flash in 2007.
In addition, I am working with the department on a brochure piece that will be distributed as part of a promotional marketing program this fall for local county businesses and for current students.

As a former (2000-2004) adjunct faculty at the Maryland Institute, College of Art for their Continuing Studies program, I originally advised the department on development of their online Web Design Certificates with regards to course structure, content and focus.
I developed coursework for introductory and intermediate HTML/Web Design courses and conducted class instruction via the Blackboard system software. In addition to working with the online program, I conducted 1 and 2 day seminars for local corporations on Macromedia Flash.

I served from 1998-2003 as an adjunct faculty at Northern Virgina Community College, Alexandria Campus, for their Communication Design program. I helped to develop and teach curriculum for the NVCC Web Design Certificate program covering topics such as Dreamweaver, HTML basics, image manipulation, animation techniques, client interaction, Flash design, storyboarding and the development process.
In addition, I served as a member of the program's advisory board, from 2001 to 2004, advising on career-focused programming, events, and topics of interest to engage the students in real world activities.
